MY VERDICT: I’m a total fan of how Jessica was styled for the Kids’ Choice Awards this year. The 31-year-old star of “Escape from Planet Earth” rocked the purple carpet in a colorful Mary Katrantzou cap sleeve “Lella” jacquard dress. The printed fit-and-flare Spring 2013 design featured aqua-mint lines in the graphics, and Jessica highlighted that small but impactful detail by accessorizing with a silver clutch that was outlined in the same bright shade. That’s all well and good, but the fact that she took it a step further by having her eyelids lined in an aqua glitter shadow just really hit the mark for me.
Mint is the hot color this season, so I’m mildly obsessed with how Jessica incorporated it in such a subtle way. With her ombré tresses styled in a 90′s side-gathered flip, diamond studs in the ear and glittered lilac Christian Louboutin “Love Me” pumps on her feet, Jessica’s KCA style was perfected and complete.
