WHERE & WHEN: Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala – “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” on May 5, 2014.
WEARING: Diane Von Furstenberg dress, Brian Atwood shoes, and jewelry from Melissa Kaye, Ippolita & Doves by Doron Paloma.
MY VERDICT: Jessica was one of the few who kept in theme without theatrics, and it works for her. The “Dear Eleanor” actress looked beautiful in a custom made Diane von Furstenberg pale gold lace v-neck gown with cinched straps. The form fitting upper silhouette highlighted her figure while the loose skirt gave a ethereal feel.
She wore her honey brunette tresses styled in a elegant rolled up-do that allowed of her diamond cut gold Doves by Doron Paloma statement earrings to stand out.
Jessica’s makeup was flawless, and I absolutely loved the kiss of gold shimmer popping from her smoky eyes. A DVF “Tonda” embossed bronze lizard clutch helped completed her look that she finished with nude Brian Atwood “Aida” platform sandals, gold rings from Melissa Kaye and Ippolita, and red nails.
